Welcoming Aqura Technologies into our team

Today we are welcoming Aqura Technologies to the Telstra Purple team. Aqura will help accelerate our industry vertical growth ambitions and provide capability to service industrial digitisation which is a big part of Telstra’s T25 strategy. 

Founded in 2016, Aqura is based in Perth and specialises in Industrial Wireless, IoT, Complete Access Networks and UC capabilities. In addition to Perth, Aqura also has presence in Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide as well as a comprehensive FIFO workforce to service all parts of Australia.

The mining and energy industry alone represents a $1.7 billion per annum opportunity and with Aqura’s expertise and our solutions together, we can develop end-to-end solutions for our enterprise customers across all of our portfolios.

I was super impressed when I saw Aqura has been able to demonstrate depth and breadth through delivery of over 30 Industrial Wireless projects (including design, deployments, managed services, spectrum surveys etc.) within a diverse range of tier one customers across key markets.

With Aqura as part of the Telstra Purple family, we will become Australia’s leading Industrial networks provider. We will be able to scale our professional and managed services capabilities to deliver industrial-grade wireless and fixed networks in remote and underground operations, while driving growth in IoT platform capabilities such as Digital Twins, Smart Spaces, environmental sensing, connected supply chain and asset tracking.
